What do I desire to Convey to the Body?

What do i desire to convey to the Body?? That REALLY is a question.
I am asking myself. There was a time when we seemed to be concentrating on new wineskins, then that concept faded for a season, now it has again come up. God has a way of doing that.
I am led to examine what an old wineskin looks like. Pictures and definitions indicate that they consisted of goat skin sewn together with the hair on the outside. I had pictured them to be trimmed out skin which had been cured, tanned and made suitable for wine containers. What I see is, bulging, balloon like bags with protruding places where legs, necks etc. had been closed off.
Now, I am coming to realize that wineskins, new or old are not necessarily very attractive. They are not made to be looked at, they are to be utilized for a specific purpose and they, like us are temporary. One thing seems apparent, an old wineskin, through use, should normally retain its inflated shape when it has been poured out. If it is put down it will stand on whatever flat surface it comes to rest on. Left in this position, it will harden, become stiff and eventually crack.
A new wine empty wineskin will collapse and flatten out. Not until it is filled will it take on a new shape and will flex and be supple, taking the shape the expanding contents may dictate.
A strange thing seems to universally occur when the HOLY SPIRIT fills a new wineskin. The outside physical appearance seldom changes, except to another filled wineskin. We call it a witness in the spirit.
So, in all my wandering and wondering, I come to the conclusion that, what I want to say to the BODY is: Paul's prayer in Col. 1:10, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God"
