Dear Friends,
Apologies for the delay in writing. I had a computer problem that could not get fixed until today. Linda's surgery Friday went well, although they did have to call in another surgeon for one piece of the job. She had two rough days Saturday and Sunday with pain and nausea. Finally the doctors got their heads together and figured out a different set of medicines to help with pain, nausea and together with the antibiotic she has to continue with until she leaves the hospital. Since Monday Linda has been feeling much better, tho' there is still pain when the pain med is taken off in order to put one of the others on -- all through a drip intervenously. She can sit up and stand some now, but is quite confined due to the aparatus of the drip. Anyway, in spite of all that she is now back to her cheerful self and thanking God for every good gift---and enjoying the fruit I bring each time I visit.
Thank you each for your prayers for LInda. Please just continue to pray there will be no post op complications at all and that everything will be towards healing with day by day improvement.
