Please join me in praising God for his life,,

Thank you for your prayers for Ben, the baby who had pneumonia and his kidneys were shutting down. Please join me in praising God for his life. The infections have completely left his body! It is truly a miracle that he is alive. Please continue to pray for his kidneys which have improved but still need healing.
Last week I was able to go over to Chennai and visit him and his parents. It was great to see them and to hold him. Sorry I did not send this update earlier. I have been out of down and the Internet was down at work.
Below is an email that Hans and Fenny asked me to pass along to you:
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for your help and support and earnest prayers during the last 20 days. It's been the longest three weeks of our lives! It is nothing less than a miracle that Ben walked out of that hospital alive. God sure has a great purpose in his life and is sure to fulfill it. We can only imagine the pain that he would've gone through during those ten days at the hospital. It was bad enough watching him.
Please continue to uphold him in your prayers. He's still on some medication for some time. We're planning to visit another hospital to have a second opinion on the status of Ben's kidneys since there seems to be some problem. The doctors say that he has shown considerable improvement but there are a couple of things that need to be treated. Another reason for consulting in a different hospital is that the diagnosis is quite expensive here in the city, let alone the treatment.
Ben is trying to get adjusted once again back home to new surroundings, new lights, a different room temperature, etc. He's very cheerful now and it brings us immense joy to see him smile and play once again! We thank God for yet another day in Ben's life.
Please pray also for Fenny and I as we try to cope up and meet the demands of parenthood and the emotional stress that we've had to deal with.
Thanks so much again.
Hans, Fenny & Ben
