Dear Prayer warriors,
Please join me in praying for the son of friends of ours, my girlfriend from our German High school days and Bob's Army buddy. Their son, Robert Davis, needs a heart transplant. His heart was severely damaged, the doctors are guessing, possibly from a virus. Robert is 42, and has no medical insurance. His doctors are working to get Robert on the transplant list, say he is a prime candidate, and there are grants out there. Please pray that this would draw the family to God,
that Robert be healed, either miraculously or through the transplant, that the cost would be covered, and for emotional and physical strength for the parents and the family.

There was much destruction near his town. He said the people from Calvary Chapel there were distributing water and food - and he was helping them. He and his family are Christians. There are many suffering from the fear that comes from a disaster...post-traumatic stress syndrome.... keep them in your prayers.

08/15/07 BOB AND RITA WARNER
Please keep Bob & Rita Warner in prayer........I just had a call from Rita Warner asking for prayer. Rita has been diagnosed with Uterine Cancer stage 1 and has to have a hysterectomy. Her first visit with the Uterine Oncologist is 24th Aug and then she goes on a waiting list according to the severity. We pray that the cancer ceases to grow and is contained in the Uterus and not spread to the lymph system and the rest of the body. We know that our God is a God of miracles and can heal with a touch, however He may have another plans for her to touch peoples' lives in the hospital, so we lift her up for God's unlimited blessings. She also has a trip to family in Germany scheduled for that time so needs our prayers for everything to fall into place. Bob came through his gall bladder surgery but it took a long time to heal as he had an infection and they couldn't insert the gauze, so he has to go back when it's completely healed.

Cherie, 31, has received a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Melanoma from a spot on her arm has metastasized to her brain. While her mother and other Christian members of her family are sad at the diagnosis, they are even more concerned about her eternal prognosis. Please pray for God's will to be done in Cherie's life and that her family will know without a shadow of doubt that she has returned to the Lord and will spend eternity in heaven with them, regardless of what her physical outcome is in the near future.

Lilyan is seeing an oncologist next Tuesday, as she has a mass behind her cervix and would like prayer for healing, peace and wisdom for the doctors. UPDATE: 08/28/07- The doctors did not find any malignancy. Praise the lord for a good report!

Please continue to pray for our living situation... We are trying to get a mortgage to buy the home but everything is so confused we have 2 or three different real estate companies involved including the one we rented from with conflicting info from all including the owner, the house is also in foreclosure, we are so confused. Pray they we will know what to do and if we should pursue this or just move on.... Much prayer needed.... Pray that if it is Gods will, we will get the mortgage and if not we will be able to find without hassle another place to go.
