Prophetic Words Given for the Body at large

The Word of the Lord given to Brother Lazarus, December 5, 2007:

First Letter to the Church in America.

My children, my bride, my beloved:  You have wondered why I have not answered more of your prayers. You wonder why I have been silent. Why my hand has not been stretched forth to do miracles of transformation as in the days of my apostles. Why your members' faith is lukewarm.  Why you are not reaching your neighbors with my message.  It is because you have not discerned that you are my Bride, my body.

Do you not understand that it is only when two or three or twelve or twenty or two-thousand are in agreement and harmony, a symphony of instruments, all playing and praying together, that I will stretch forth my hand to do signs and wonders? When you do this, in true intimacy, I will visit you mightily and shake your very buildings with my power. You will see miracles everyday as in the days of my apostles.  Hundreds, thousands, millions will be added to you. Yes, you will be fruitful and prevail in prayer when you do it as one body, my bride.

The time of the glory of my love manifest in my Bride has come.  Your intercessions are weak and ineffective when done alone and privately.  More and more you will find each other and come together, as one body in unity and love. This was my plan from the beginning. The day of your privacy must end.   Private worship and intercessions are incomplete without the corporate union of the true intimacy of me with my bride and my bride with each other.  .

Do you not understand? Even, though you are in one place singing your songs and raising your hands, and saying your prayers and your halleluiahs that this is not the corporate worship I have longed for.  Your worship is only true worship when you are of one accord, in love with me and with one another.  My bride, my body, come home to me!  I long for you!.

My Kingdom is not a private Kingdom. Unless you understand that, you cannot prevail and win the wounded and broken and hurting to your side. They come into your midst, my true sheep, and you do not see them.  They are invisible to you and they leave sad and alone.  Neither do you love them because you feel your mission is complete when you have listened to your sermons and completed your worship.  That is the beginning of true worship, not the end.
It is I, not your elaborate programs that will add to your numbers and heal the broken hearted.  Yes, I the Lord your God will do this, for I will add to the church, when my church loves one another as I have commanded: when you meet together often, breaking bread together in your homes, eating together, praying together, with glad and sincere hearts, praising your God.  Then you will enjoy the favor of your alienated world, and the Lord will add to your number daily.

This can be the day of resurrection and glory, my glory, which I share with you now. And my glory is this, that you love one another.  I long for intimacy with you, privately in your own hearts, but also intimacy together. Each fails without the other.  Did I not create man and woman in partnership? Did I not send my disciples out two by two? Did not my great apostle have his Barnabas, his Luke, his Timothy and Silas? They were rarely alone. They were not afraid of intimacy, as men, my men, fear it today.  That is why they prevailed. They were my band of committed warriors who fought for each other, and me as soldiers in battle.  They cared for each other and protected one another by their unity and love. I was so proud of them! I long for my body to come together like this again. I long for intimacy with you, but also intimacy among yourselves.
Sadly, you have failed to obey my command to love one another as I have loved you.  And you have paid the price.  Your world mocks you, and worse, ignores you. There is no greater evidence to my resurrected life than this, that you truly love one another and lay down your souls for one another. .
Sadly, my body has been broken into many little pieces, each member with his own secrets and desires; each congregation building its own kingdom.   But now I promise you, together you will overcome the Enemy with great power.  But when you stand alone, as individuals or congregations, you will surely fall. I will not bless this anymore. There is no private discipleship in my Kingdom. I permitted this for a while, but the fruits of this have not endured, neither could they endure. I had my great warriors, Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, Kathryn Kuhlman, my gifts to the American church.  You have longed to replace these great personalities, but you will not find them.
There is room in my church today for only one Great Personality. I, and I alone am the Great Personality.  I told you, if I were lifted up, I would draw all men unto me..  You lift me up and win this battle, when you love me with all your hearts, mind and strength; when you love one another as I have loved you; when you love your neighbor, the strangers in your midst as yourselves. These are my three commands and these three are one, as I am one.

You who have ears to hear these words are those who have walked with me through the valley of the shadow of death.   I am bringing you out of that valley now, and gathering you TOGETHER at my banqueting table, and my banner over you is LOVE.  The time has come for you all to feast TOGETHER at my table.
Yes, I am your shepherd, but I am so much more.  I am your host, your bridegroom, your lover. I have prepared a table for you ALL. I long to see you feast and celebrate together in the presence of your enemies. Who are your enemies?  They are Fear, Enmity, Distrust, Loneliness, Broken homes, Divorce, which I hate, Isolation, Rebellion, Bondage to sin, Grief and Pain.   These enemies, these giants, will lie conquered, face down, and overcome by my power, your faith and your love for one another. You can be victorious, though sorely tried, by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. But you cannot win this battle without me, and you cannot win it without one another.  I have much more to say to you on this. I will teach you how to obey this commandment to love one another, through my servant, my messenger.  Listen to him for I have chosen him because he is humble and of a contrite heart, and seeks no glory for himself, only me.
Thus Says the Lord your God, Your Bridegroom, Your Lover.

We cannot continue to focus simply on having ‘revivals' in the church, while the rest of the world goes to hell. ‘Revivals' in the church are great, but if they do not produce a demonstration of the Kingdom of God outside the four walls of the church, they are pointless. The world will not come to the church to get saved. The Church must go to the world, just as the light must penetrate the darkness. Jesus Christ never invited anyone to the temple to come and hear Him; He was usually thrown out of the temple. He touched people outside and in the market places. Teaching eschatology does not fulfill any of God's present desires, for His greatest desire is to reach the lost. These "last day" teachings simply tickle the people's ear's and fill the wallets of teachers as they burden the people with certain events that are sure to happen, but they can never put a date, time or place on these events.

Why not rather preach the purpose of God instead of the tribulations to come? If we discover our purpose in life, we become effective servants who are able to reach out to a dying world.

Instead of standing on our pulpits with moral measuring rods screaming curses at this sinful world, we should be building altars in the presence of unholy people, and offering Him praise. We should be offering Life and Living Water to an adulterous woman instead of gazing at her with lustful eyes, and then stoning her later. We should be filling fishermen's nets with fish, and then presenting the truth to them, instead of shouting about the potential evils of their "great catch." We should be met by demoniacs and lunatics at the entrance of a City, instead of being hailed by the politicians with red carpets. We should be commissioning new converts as the missionaries to the same regions where they were delivered, instead of indoctrinating them with irrelevant patterns and forms of religion, and then sending them to the "mission field." We should be expelled from the religious centers and temples, for identifying the true enemies, (Luke 4:16-29), instead of being exalted as celebrities because of our "cliché preaching".

It is time to follow Jesus, not only as we see Him in history, but also as He is presently revealing Himself. Where is He moving today? What is He saying? Where does He want us to go and what does He want us to pray
