Are You Buying Satan's Commercial?

We are so Conditioned
We are condition to focus on what we do not have and how can that need be met.
We sometimes come to services like this expecting someone to meet that need rather then the Holy spirit.
By looking for drive through answers and formulas to our problems we become susceptible to seducing spirits.
2 Cor. 11:3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
Television commercials sole purpose is to separate you from your inherit value which is your money.
You do not have a car unless you have this one, you are a failure unless you look like this, our product will meet all your needs etc.
The world system itself sets us up to look for answers to our problems as well as to have our needs met outside of Christ. Just like in the garden with Adam and Eve.
Can anyone say why the serpent was able to seduce Adam and Eve? They had every thing except that fruit on a tree.
They had authority to rule over all the earth. Yet exchanged that for a piece of fruit, why?
2
Gen. 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Gen. 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
How could they yield up such an inheritance and authority?
That must have been some commercial the serpent gave Eve.
By getting Adam and Eve to question Gods faithfullness in letting them not have the fruit, the serpent was able to get them to act in their own effort independantly of God, right?
Do we question God's faithfullness too? Are we entertaining a commercial designed by the devil to get us to look to a different tree for our needs to be met? Are we angry and frustrated because our needs are not being met in a way we want? Do we look to the next teaching or move of God to somehow meet that need? Are not our houses full of teaching books that were suppose to satisfy us?
God's word say's He will supply all our needs, just like Adam and Eve. And that we are to reign in Christ.
Do we really beleive that?

If so why do we allow ourselves to look elsewhere?
The serpents commercial is very slick in its presentation. Being designed to get us to focus on that which we do not have and therefore begin to doubt and distrust God who is a loving Father.
Col. 1:26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,
Col. 1:27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Christ is in us working all things together for our good. Can we trust Him? Will we wait on Him even if we never understand or see an answer?
Have you ever wondered why God would put two trees in the garden?
It sure looks like a setup doesn't it?
But if your husband was with you because there were no one else to choose from it wouldn't mean much would it? But if your husband chose you over all the other women out there, would you not feel loved and desired by that husband? God was able and did create angels who do His bidding, but He desired fellowship with a creation who would choose to believe and love Him not because they were created that way, but because they wanted too by an act of their will.

In the book of Job satan went to God and said "sure Job praises You because you have a hedge around him. But remove it and he will curse you."
As long as conditions are such where we are content we are willing to trust God aren't we? But the moment adversity comes we begin to look elsewhere.
God is desiring us to grow up in Christ where we will trust God to provide and meet our needs and not look to someone or something else like Adam and Eve did with the fruit.
We need to allow God to teach us how to rely on Him.
To surrender to His involvement in our lives even when we don't understand or see results.
We really can trust Him.
Let us not be seduced by the lies of the commercial which is designed for us to act independantly of God.
